                                       	  720fa-????

Ladies and Gentlemen: we are proud to bring you latest in Sims hair fashion. Get that just coiffed look everyday (even while swimming) with these very detailed meshes. And the best part? You don't need any additional texture files! Any c001fa texture will work on these meshes.

Furthermore, as most complex meshes (especially of this detail) would require several cross-referenced .skn, these have just one. Also, the meshes have been considerably chopped down in 3d Studio in order to get them to a more practical size, SIMply speaking.

Caution should be exercized when using these skins. While no problems have been reported with these smaller files, use them sparingly in the game in order to maintain optimal performance. All precautions have been taken in order to insure that these are safe and usable for the Sims, but problems always arise somewhere.

Therefore, Fionn nor any of the other Simfreaks contributors may be held responsible for any damages that these files may cause to your version of the Sims or resulting computer problems. We will be happy to give advice regarding their use.

I've seen these meshes popping up all over the place. Great. Wanna use these meshes at your own site? Out of courtesy and penalty of being "drawn and quartered", please follow these simple guidelines:

1) provide credit to Fionn on site, and include this readme.txt in the zip.
2) provide a link to http:\\www.Simfreaks.com on your site.
3) contact me (Fionn) at barbaros@bellsouth.net and let me know about it. I'd love to see it!

Directions: use Simshow.**
place all .bmp's in your xx/Sims/Gamedata/Textures directory.
place all .skn and .cmx in your xx/Sims/Gamedata/People 1 directory.
Run Simshow. Any c001fa file will work nicely into any of these meshes. Experiment with the hairtexturing and style that works best for each mesh, and export it from Simshow to the Gamedata/Skins directory.

**Note: Maxis' new program, Sims Character Editor, may be used. All files have been tested effective with this editor. However, the c001fa textures must be named to the desired mesh and imported into game before Character Editor can use them.

Included in this update:

c733fa_realwet: looks like you just stepped out of a pool...to waiting photographers. SEXY!
c738fa_realshort: very short, masculine looking hair. Two kiss-curls in front make it alluring.
c739fa_realpig: pigtails and golden accessories. Cute.

c741fa_realoz: You're not in Kansas anymore. Nice "Dorothy" effect with two bows.

c742fa_realnative: Long braids in front. Good for native American and Scandinavian hairstyles. Has golden bound accessories.
c743fa_realcrlpony: appeared as a little girl's mesh in Victorian set available at Simfreaks. Has a ribbon-bow.
c744fa_realsmooth: you have to see this one to believe it. Ethnic and wild.

c748fa_realsweep: fluid looking, modified version of "realluxury" with wider base and more over shoulders.

c750fa_realbeach: interesting inspiration I had thanks to my bikini.com calendar. The braids are meant to be textured to specifically created "braid" textures.

c751fa_realchaos: messier version of realsweep, with some disshevelled looking locks. Has nice "realcurl" like effect that looks different from every angle.

SOON TO COME:

Male hair meshes are on the way for Valentine's Day. I will offer eight of them, and they are not lame copies of the female hairs for males. In addition, I will be offering some luxury female styles to go with Veronica's grand new formal dresses. Delicious. And don't miss some more upcoming female hairstyles, to include:

c734fa_realsculpt: a nice coif with noticable braids separating the layers.
c735fa_realshag: lots of ringlets and curls in a mid-length hairstyle.
c736fa_realforehead: I saw my wife in this one. Long in back, divided bangs and lots of forehead.
c737fa_realwave2: a symmetrical cut similar to the "realwave" but with doublebarrel waves in front.

c752fa_realque: nicely textured short and curly. Looks good on mature heads as well as the younguns'
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Previous meshes:

c726fa_realprom: Mixture of ponytail and realcurl mesh, this one comes with a bandeau. Beautiful. Available as a Victorian mesh, and released on Christmas.
c727fa_bedhead: Slightly flat, slightly dissheveled, very sexy.
c728fa_realtail: the poser character ponytail. Has texturing for a separate golden band.
c729fa_superlong: Smooth shape that intentionally cascades over shoulders. Luxurious and full. Clipping over shoulders may enhance the effect of this mesh.
c730fa_reallilt: a modification of the "realwave" style, it is longer and has two strands hanging down. Very dimensional.
c731fa_realpin: sculpted, pulled-back hairstyle, with pinned bangs and long back.
c732fa_realmess: not really a mess, this style is loose and mid-length, comes slightly forward. Alternative to the 720fa reallong.
c746fa_realluxury: more fluid looking in game, this is a modification that I hope to work with some more. Let me know what you think. This one seems to avoid planking issues by being rounded at the bottom.

**The first six releases in the series were to be followed by regular releases of new meshes every week for an unspecified amount of time. The first six were as follows:

c720fa_reallong: a nice long haired model with good forward waviness
c721fa_realcurl: a beautifully put together luxurious hair mesh. True Glamour.
c722fa_realchop: fashionable short hair with meshed out bangs. Very chic.
c723fa_realwave: nice dimensional and shaded effect. Notice the little lilt across the forehead.
c724fa_reallayer: shoulder length layered style. Looks like longer version of 723fa.
c725fa_realbiz: Kate Jackson style from Charlie's Angels. Neat, shoulder length.**

A very special thanks goes out to Aladrin Kelahn. Without his help and constant guidance, these meshes would have gone unmade. Wherever you are Al, you da man.

Also thanks goes out to the good folks at Metacreations, who manufacture Poser, the program used to create the original .obj's for many of these meshes. And to the guest artists of various sites whose free hair models helped to provide inspiration (and some of the .obj) for these meshes. Thanks to the authors of the 3d Max plugin "PolyChop" for chopping down these meshes to a reasonable size. Thanks to Bil Simser for his advice and expertise during a hectic time for him. Finally, a thanks to Veronica, Heather, Kinsey, Jerome, and Bookgrrl for their beta testing. And a further thanks to Heather for providing a forum for my work. And thanks to you for caring. WHEW!
